Hotwire Booking Policy

You can add nights to hotel reservations through Hotwire’s Add to Your Stay feature, although the per-night price for the additional time may be different from your original reservation. This feature is not available for all hotels. Call the hotel directly if it’s not available for your reservation. You cannot change the name under which the reservation is made, although you can add a guest to the booking. A credit card is required at check-in for incidentals. Similar policies are in effect for car rentals.

Hotwire Cancellation Policies

All Hot Rate bookings, for both hotels and car rentals, are final and cannot be changed or refunded. For other types reservations made through Hotwire, cancellation policies vary by partnership company. Check the provider’s policies, which can be found on your Hotwire confirmation email. Travelers can purchase trip protection through Allianz Global Assistance when booking on Hotwire. Travel insurance is listed as a separate transaction. All claims must be made through Allianz.
